Autumnal Wedding in Danbury, Essex

Last month I spent a beautiful autumn day photographing Jo and Dick's wedding in Danbury, Essex. I've visited Danbury many times over the years growing up in Essex and it was lovely to photograph in such a picturesque village I know so well.

I joined Jo and her bridesmaids having a lovely morning getting ready at The Warren Golf and Country Club. There was such a relaxed atmosphere and it was so nice for all the bridesmaids and their mum's to get ready together with Jo.

Jo and the girls all had their hair styled by Kirsty, who created different looks for everyone - all stunning.

Jo's gorgeous bouquet was by Blossom Hill Florist in Danbury, who also decorated the stunning cake! I loved the variety in the bouquet - the white berries in particular looked gorgeous.

I then went to meet Dick at St John the Baptist Church in the centre of Danbury. It is a beautiful church with a gorgeous stained glass window, and the ceremony was wonderful, and very heartfelt.

As a surprise for Dick Jo had arranged for a VW camper van to take them and their children back to The Warren, as Dick would like a camper van himself someday!

The reception was held at The Warren, with champagne and canapés enjoyed as a string trio (apologies if that's not the correct term!) played beautifully.

For the evening guests, instead of a buffet Jo and Dick had an incredible cheese table, with an amazing selection of cheeses beautifully arranged.

The disco, lighting and fantastic dance floor were supplied by Love Light Entertainment, and really transformed the venue completely! There was some fantastic dancing from everyone, and a great party!

Thank you so much to Jo and Dick for choosing me to photograph your wedding - it was a fantastic day filled with love and laughter, and I really enjoyed capturing it for you.
